I have started a business from home, that mostly gets business from my website. In this circumstance is it necessary to obtain a Home Business License, and get a sales tax number?

If you’re in the US, call your county office for business licenses
(here it’s the county clerk’s office).

Some places will require you to have a home business zoning waiver in addition to a biz license.

Same for sales tax. Call the Board of Equalization or whoever handles sales tax collection and ask them.

Hi Everybody,
I am from Asia and looking to start an apparel wholesale business in Romania. My items will include mens and ladies in western and ethnic wear, ready to be distributed to small or mid sized retailers at smart prices.

Basically fashionable & tastefull stuff at bargain prices/deals.

I wud like to know if Romania is an ideal place to explore this kind of a business plan. Any thoughts or guidance in this regard wud be highly appreciated.

I used to live in Romania.

There are so many asian markets over there.
My mom used to buy only from them.
They make good$ $ $ $ $ $ $
Most of them are in The capital.. BUcharest

Does anybody have any advice on starting a wine importing and wholesale business in the UK?

I have a couple of associates who produce fine wine in South America.

I’m very interested in importing their product to the UK and distributing it throughout the UK gto restaurants, fine wine sellers and also direct to members of the public.

Does anybody involved in the business have any advice?

If i was you i’d wait a couple of years. We have friends who have wine businesses and they aren’t doing at all well right now. The supermarkets are getting most of the sales this year. Wait until the recession is over, there should be plenty of bargains then in business premises etc.
