I have been looking for this kind of book for years. The term “digimarketing” immediately caught my attention. I have to thank the authors for taking the courage to write this easy-to-be-obsolete book. Wertime and Fenwick did a very good job in making all the techincal stuff become so easy to understand to most marketing managers who don’t have deep technical savvy. I also love the beauty of how this book is organized. Yet what I like most is the last part of the book where you are guided to bring everything to a step-by-step implementing plan.
It is no doubt that “digimarketing” is increasingly important versus traditional marketing. It is now already “mainstream” as emphasized by the authors. Those marketing professionals who do not pay enough attention to digimarketing will soon find left far behind. And for small business owner like me, this book is extremely helpful. It captures in a very friendly manner everything that I had to read and consolidate from a dozen of other books on the similar topic. I will start implementing what I read right now! Strongly recommended!

This book is amazing. It is very informative and well written. The best about it is the way it explains the whole marketing landscape and future trends. As somebody said “We are all digimarketers now, or we should be”. It is simple THE guide for New Media and Digital Marketing; it is what its title says. I have read a few book about marketing, but this one outperforms all of them by a long shot.
The only “wrong” (or perhaps good) thing I see is that it doesn’t appeals to emotions as “Word of Mouth Marketing” or others. It is more like a text book, but very well summarized. So you’ll enjoy it more if you have at least very good marketing fundamentals, but if you don’t, you will still enjoy it.
I recommend this book to anyone searching information about Digital Marketing and New Media. It is simply a MUST-HAVE. You will never regret it. BUY IT now!

I’ll be absolutely honest with you. Normally I don’t read books from start to finish in the Internet marketing niche. I scan, find the bits and then dump the book.
Not this time.
Joel has created a book that thoroughly entertained me. It could be because I’m a fanboy when it comes to the Internet marketing industry, or it could be because I’ve made my living online from the time I left university or it could be because I love stories about the personalities involved – the real people stories.
The fact is, this book tells a great story as it’s primary achievement (as it should!) but also teaches you a ton of tactics you can directly apply to your own business. Perhaps best of all though, is how inspirational it is.
I wouldn’t buy this if you are looking for a step-by-step how to for beginners, but if you want to know how the pioneers of Internet marketing made their first dollars online and get inspired that you could follow in their footsteps, this is the book to buy.
You won’t find anything else out there like it simply because it’s written by one of the very pioneers that are the focus of the book. Only a guy like Joel could get in touch with so many people from the industry and get them to reveal such tiny details about their journey to make a living online.

For those of us who market primarily online, it’s an ever changing world out there. Remaining informed on internet trends and changing markets venues is almost a full time job, and the news we hear about market conditions and the future of the internet marketer is not always cheery. Fortunately, Joel Comm has written a book filled with inspiring internet success stories that may very well fuel your own internet success.
The internet is the last great frontier for entrepreneurs; there are upsides and downsides to marketing in this way, and one of the major downsides is that it’s a often solitary, isolating way to work. Your work world can be as tiny as a keyboard and you, sometimes for much of the day. So what’s the draw, you might ask. Some of us market this way because first of all we can, because the internet eliminates geographic boundaries making every human with a computer and an online connection a prospective customer, and because it puts a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow within everyone’s reach. However, staying focused and motivated in this tiny work world can be challenging.
This book will help internet entrepreneurs to stay pumped by sharing the success stories of internet pioneers who have succeeded beyond their dreams, doing roughly what each of us who markets exclusively online is doing. Some obviously did it better than most, but that’s okay. The internet as a marketing medium is as fluid as the sea, changing daily and creating openings for new ways of doing things and new products.
